Tom Dailey, President and Chief Executive Officer
Prior to joining IXI, Mr. Dailey was President and CEO of Claritas, Inc., a leading provider of precision marketing/segmentation and targeting solutions. During his tenure at Claritas, Mr. Dailey led the acquisitions of several key geo-demographic segmentation companies and grew annual revenues almost twofold from 1995 to 1997. Prior to working at Claritas, Mr. Dailey founded and acted as President and CEO of Spectra Marketing Systems, Inc., a consumer segmentation and targeting company that offers micro-marketing services to companies in the consumer goods industries. Mr. Dailey also has extensive venture capital experience, especially in start-up and early stage companies such as IXI. Mr. Dailey holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Maryland.
Sheryl Friedman, Chief Marketing Officer
Sheryl Friedman joins IXI with over 25 years experience in marketing communications and advertising. She has a track record of driving customer-focused marketing strategies and developing creative and effective ways to communicate the brand message. Most recently, Ms. Friedman served as the Vice President of Marketing for Vertis Communications in Baltimore, MD. In this role, she was responsible for leading integrated marketing for all divisions, collaborating with product management to identify new channels, and implementing the launch of a new brand. Prior to working at Vertis, Ms. Friedman was Vice President at Arnold Worldwide where she worked with leading firms including BearingPoint and ExxonMobil. She has also held senior level positions at CAIS Internet and Doner. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Studies from Northwestern University.
Jim Walkley, Group Vice President, Consumer Markets
Mr. Walkley joins Echelon with a proven track record of delivering business-building solutions to clients in the Financial Services and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industries. As Group Vice President, Consumer Markets, Mr. Walkley leads Echelon’s business development, marketing and client management teams. Prior to joining Echelon, Mr. Walkley served in a wide range of sales and marketing positions. Previously, as Senior Vice President in the Financial Services Group of IXI™ Corporation, Mr. Walkley guided the implementation of high-performing client marketing programs for the nation’s top U.S. banks. Mr. Walkley began his career with Spectra Marketing as VP of Client Services, where he managed targeted marketing services across a broad array of CPG companies and led the design, delivery, implementation, and execution of custom sales and marketing solutions including marketing mix and advertising optimization analyses for key clients. Mr. Walkley holds a MBA in Strategic Management and Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.S. degree in Marketing from the University of Colorado.
Mike Fitzpatrick: Senior Vice President, Account Services - Hospitality, Gaming and Timeshare
Prior to joining Echelon, Mike Fitzpatrick was the circulation director for Rodale Inc.'s Colorado office where he managed all circulation marketing functions for six different publishing products. He oversaw all budgeting processes, new and renewal subscription marketing and manipulation of the customer database. Before Rodale, Mr. Fitzpatrick was at National Demographics & Lifestyles/The Polk Company, where he sold lists, modeling and database segmentation products to catalogers such as L.L. Bean, Hanover Direct, Chadwick's of Boston and Lands' End. Prior to that, he was the marketing manager for Omaha Steaks International, overseeing new business development initiatives such as Canadian expansion, a gourmet coffee club and their entry into electronic marketing. Mr. Fitzpatrick earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Northwestern University and was nominated for the Young Direct Marketer of the Year Award in 1994. He currently serves as Co-Chair of the DMA (Direct Marketing Association) Hospitality Council and is a frequent speaker at travel and hospitality industry events.
Chris von der Linden, Senior Vice President, Retail and Consumer Goods Practice
Prior to joining Echelon, Mr. von der Linden held leadership positions at various marketing information suppliers. Most recently as Vice President, Group Client Director for the Nielsen Company, Mr. von der Linden was responsible for developing business building solutions for large Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies. Those solutions involved leveraging the vast set of tools within the Nielsen family focusing on market mix modeling, target identification, targeted media, retail execution strategies and programs, qualitative and quantitative research. Before joining the Nielsen Company, Chris held a Senior Vice President role at Spectra in the Client Service Department where he directed one third of the manufacturer business across the country. Prior to Spectra, Mr. von der Linden held a variety of sales, micro-marketing, and category management roles with Ralston Purina and Nabisco Foods Group. Mr. von der Linden holds a B.S. degree in Marketing from St. Louis University where he played baseball for four years at the varsity level.
Tyler Ronald, Vice President, Travel Leisure and Entertainment Practice
Tyler Ronald joins Echelon after serving as an Account Director for the IXI Corporation Financial Services Group, where he provided segmentation and targeting solutions to some of the top U.S. banks. As Vice President of the Travel Leisure and Entertainment Group, Mr. Ronald manages client relationships with all current and development accounts and provides segmentation and targeting solutions while helping clients increase sales, reduce costs and build highly profitable brands. Prior to joining Echelon, Mr. Ronald was an Senior Territory Manager with Scholastic Inc., one of the world’s largest children’s publishing, education and media companies, where he executed and managed a range of sales and marketing initiatives. Mr. Ronald lives in Denver, CO, is an avid outdoorsman, and holds a BA from Connecticut College.
Warren Zeller: Vice President, Account Services - Cable and Satellite
Warren Zeller has been involved with the cable and telecommunications industries for nearly 25 years, including 10 years with Tele-Communications Inc. (now Comcast) and 10 years with Starz Entertainment Group. Mr. Zeller's previous industry experience includes working as a national account executive for TARGUSinfo, a real-time database company in Vienna, Va., where he generated $2.5 million in sales to the cable television and satellite verticals. Prior to TARGUSinfo, he served as vice president of direct marketing for Starz Entertainment Group, where he was responsible for all inbound and outbound telemarketing and direct-to-consumer marketing, including the Web. Mr. Zeller was also responsible for the launch marketing of 14 different networks during his tenure with the company. Prior to TARGUSinfo, Mr. Zeller worked as the general manager of Cabletime at Tele-Communications Inc. (TCI),where he helped launch Cable Value Network (CVN-now QVC) and wrote the original business plan for TCI's rollout of Digital Music Express (DMX). Mr. Zeller earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Southern Methodist University.
Ryan T. Callahan: Director, Account Services – Telecommunications
Ryan Callahan has worked in the telecommunications industry for more than seven years. His telecomm career began at Qwest Broadband Services, Inc., then transitioned to Qwest Communications International, Inc. and finally to Qwest Wireless, LLC where Mr. Callahan managed and implemented multiple initiatives for increasing wireless, wireline, high speed data and digital TV sales. This depth of experience across the telecommunications industry gives Mr. Callahan a wholly unique perspective that benefits clients and prospects alike. Mr. Callahan assists Echelon's clients with their prospecting and client-relations efforts through the use of Echelon's household-based segmentation, targeting and messaging applications. Mr. Callahan earned a bachelor of arts from University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota and a master of business administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. He is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Colorado’s Business Administration program.
Darrin C. Lee: Director, Account Services - Healthcare
Darrin Lee has over 14 years of experience in strategic marketing, channel development, advertising, and product management roles - with a focus on healthcare and technology. Prior to joining Echelon, Mr. Lee served as Director of Marketing and Product Management for CodeCorrect, Inc. an industry-leading financial, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance application provider for the healthcare market. At CodeCorrect, Mr. Lee managed a team responsible for developing and marketing software solutions for hospitals, physician practices and channel partners across the United States. Before joining CodeCorrect, Mr. Lee was a senior market manager for Thomson MICROMEDEX, a global healthcare information and software provider. Mr. Lee is a Colorado native, and holds a BS in Journalism (Advertising) and Marketing, and a Juris Doctorate, both from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
